Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am getting ready for another year of teaching 6th grade ELA. I want to bring more fun, color, and excitement into my classroom. We will use the crayons and colored pencils to doodle notes and put them around the room during the unit being studied. Pencils enable students to express their ideas effectively. My students require text-to-speech (pen scanner) when doing independent assignments. The headphones will be something that will be used daily to support them to reach their IEP goals.

Having these new supplies will keep my students engaged as they prepare to read, research, and create ELA projects.

They are ready to learn and grow in our classroom environment with each paper they write and project they create. I cannot wait to see how these supplies will benefit my students to learn more, as they read and research and create more informative and creative projects both this year, as well as into next in their educational activity.
