My Project
COVID has caused disruption of traditional learning environments. Kids got disconnected from the real world for a while. How did this impact our students?
Increased stress and anxiety: The uncertainty and changes brought about by the pandemic have caused heightened stress levels among students, impacting their ability to focus and engage in learning.
Loss of social interaction: Remote learning has limited face-to-face interactions, leading to feelings of isolation and loneliness among students.
The widening educational disparities are clearly seen in the classrooms right now. The shift to online learning has exacerbated existing educational inequalities, with students from disadvantaged backgrounds facing greater challenges accessing resources and support. My students need an assortment of basic classroom supplies to help them overcome these challenges.
