Our classroom consists of 21 third graders. They walk into school with eager and inquiring minds every morning! Their love of learning and use of technology to support their journey in third grade is inspiring! They love to ask questions and do research on not only things we are learning about in class, but for their future. Many kids love to read books on websites like Epic or Raz Kids about things they could be when they grow up.
Many of my students come to school each morning and look forward to the consistency and structure that our classroom provides!

My Project
I chose this project because integrating technology into the classroom is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles. All of my students learn and collaborate differently. These four iPads will give my students another avenue of communication with myself (their teacher), along with parents and peers. Secondly, using technology in the classroom gives teachers and other faculty members the opportunity to develop their student's digital citizenship skills. It's one thing to use mobile devices, it's completely another thing to know how to use them correctly and responsibly.
Technology transforms the learning experience and gives students access to an incredible amount of new opportunities.
From learning how to code to learning how to better collaborate across teams and with instructors-technology empowers students to be more creative and be more connected. New technology has super-charged how our students learn today.
