Preparing Our Children for Jobs That Don't Even Exist... Yet!

My students need to explore and learn using current technology. The Apple iPad is most compatible with our county's current technology and educational needs.

My Students

I have a group of 20 energetic and enthusiastic learners. They love learning. Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning, but also capable of succeeding. Technology is a wonderful educational tool that allows me to differentiate for the needs of each unique learner, and gives the children a fun way to learn, explore, and create.

We use growth mindset in our classroom to encourage grit and to foster the power of never giving up. When students say, "I can't," we say to them, "You can't, YET!"

My Project

Students will be able to use the Apple iPad to access our county and school's purchased educational apps and programs. They will be able to use hands-on technology to learn, explore, and create. The Apple iPad will increase students ability to access technology for multiple needs:

Students will access educational apps to differentiate for our diverse learners needs.

Students will create individual learning portfolios.

Students whom are English as a Second Language Learners will access educational apps proven to increase English vocabulary

Students will communicate with the teacher and their parents using ClassDoJo via the classroom app.

Students will use the iPad to create classroom presentations using educational apps.

Students will explore computer coding through educational apps.
