My Kindergarten students are eager 5 and 6 year olds that are anxious to get their hands on technology. I love that they are excited to be in school and ready to learn something new each day. To keep my students engaged and excited I would love to incorporate technology into our daily routines whenever possible.
It is my goal that my student stay excited about learning and continue to want to come to a school where learning can be fun.
I want all of my students to develop the skills necessary to be successful now. Kindergarten is where it all begins!
My Project
The students in my class will be preparing for careers that may not exist today. In order to be competitive and college ready, the students will need to be able to use technology as a tool and acquire 21st learner skills. Even though my students are only 5 and 6 years old, I still feel that it is SO important to begin preparing them for the future now so that they have the skills they need to become successful.
I am asking for five laptops and a projector so that my students have the opportunity to experience technology first hand.
The five laptops meet the district technology requirements for use and maintenance on the district network.
