Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a low income school with 25 bright, smiling, soon to be third graders. My students are as diverse as they are amazing. I have students who are new to our country, students who don't speak English at home, students who only speak English, and students who are gifted and talented.

We are an inclusive classroom that celebrates our diversity and our differences.

The majority of my students are English Language Learners who have very little English support outside of school. My goal is to make every student feel like they can and will reach whatever they set their mind to.

My Project

We have been through so much this year and are preparing for more unpredictable times. Throughout these unpredictable times I would like to make sure my students and myself stay as healthy and safe as we possibly can.

Having an air purifier will help me keep my classroom, and anyone who enters, as safe and healthy as I can.

Along with the air purifier, the replacement filters will help me keep the air purifier going all school year long.

We don't know what to expect during this upcoming school year, but I want my students and parents to know that I am doing everything I possibly can to stay healthy.
