This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are bright and extremely curious in learning about physics and other scientific phenomenon. They come from diverse backgrounds with different cultures and ideas.

However different their backgrounds may be, they all have one thing in common - their eagerness to learn.

I am excited to see my students in person and I want to provide my students with the most welcoming environment as possible.

My Project

Many of my students have not stepped into a classroom in over eighteen months. One of my goals is to create a safe and welcoming environment when the students come back to school.

I am requesting hooks, a pencil sharpener, charging cables and more.

All of these materials will help students throughout their day. As my students juggle with their textbooks and other supplies, the amount of materials they have to carry drastically increases. The hooks will be helpful when the students need extra room to keep their backpacks full of school supplies and jackets safe and out of the way. Other materials such chargers will help the students keep their phones and other electronic equipment charged and ready to go. It is these small things that make a big difference!
