Preparing 5th & 6th grade for High School and Beyond!
Help me give my students support with organization! The pizza racks will be used to keep students' binders in our classroom because we do not have lockers! The binders get heavy to carry throughout the day!
My Scholars are in the 5th and 6th grades, and I am helping them prepare for their transition to the upper grades! Our English Language Arts classroom is a brave space where Scholars practice their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. I continue to seek donations to help us build a classroom library, as our school does not have a library. Preparation also includes organizational skills, and 5th grade is the first year scholars transition from class to class instead of learning all subjects in one room with one teacher. It is also their first year utilizing a binder, and are responsible for bringing their supplies from class to class. Our school currently does not have lockers, and the pizza racks will be put in my classroom so students can store their binders and each have their own spot instead of carrying them around all day!
