Preparedness in the Fine Arts Through High School Dance!

Help me give my students supplies they need for 3 major Dance Concerts a year! Items like garment bags, racks, and fans keep dancers organized and prepared backstage.

My Project

In the scope of a year, the High School Dance Program puts on 3 Major Concert Events. Two are filled with work from faculty and guest artist choreography, set and prop design, lighting and music choices. The third being an entirely Senior Produced show with the same intentions and incredible performance results! Our community takes great pride in every show we produce with opportunities for audience engagement and choice, where we take two audience favorite student pieces into a faculty show at the end of the year!

Every High School Dance Program needs items to help expressive dancers shine on stage!

Items like extension cords and surge protectors keep our electric needs met on and off stage with LED lights, special effects, and prop design. Our Dancer Daisies and sticky notes keep promotional items organized in the school's ticket booth, and provide a away for parents, friends, and community members to support their dancer's with positive notes of encouragement backstage during intermission and after the show. Knee pads, costume racks, and garment bags keep costumes organized, provide relief for sore muscles during Concert Week, and keep delicate items off the floor and easy to grab in a quick change!

In all the magic created on stage, we need a variety of supplies backstage to create the confidence, organization, and support for 180+ dancers to perform at their best!

Mrs. Brady will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 9.
