My Project

After many years in first grade, I am now embarking on a journey in preschool! With a new grade level comes some new challenges and I need your support!

Please help stock and supply my classroom with center-based learning materials and activities!

This year, I am looking to set up systems for children to get as many opportunities to work on various domains of development: cognitive, social, emotional, creative, language, and physical. Centers are a great way to do this!

In order for centers to run smoothly, I need materials. For example, in the dramatic play center, I want to start the year with a restaurant play and then pumpkin patch play. Items in this project include: restaurant dress up clothes, food items that mimic a restaurant environment, as well as items you might see when you go there like guest checks.

In the art area, I need crayons, pencils, popsicle sticks, pom poms, beads, pipe cleaners, hole punchers, stickers, and more. These items are not only for artistic fun, but they also support fine motor development to be used all year long.

In the sensory bin area, I need mediums such as rice and popcorn. In that, I would like to add small figurines of animals, such as they bugs and farm so that kids can keep their imagination rolling!

Lastly, I would like puzzles for the math area and social emotional tools such as the felt face pieces to explore our varying emotions.
