My Students

Nearly 95% of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch, and many of my students experience challenges from living in a high-poverty community. However, my 21st-century students will have their basic needs met.

For my students, opting out is not an option.

They are always putting forth their best. The student population is very diverse. For instance, they all have different learning styles and interests, and some students are from outside of the U.S. They have a variety of experiences to contribute to the school and classroom community, and it is necessary to have the appropriate materials and items to meet the needs of every unique student.

My Project

“You have to be prepared. Otherwise, how can you complete the classwork and be successful this school year?” I must have said this at least a 1,000 times to my students. For some, I think they simply forget to bring their supplies to school, but for others, I think that it may be a little more complicated than leaving their supplies at home. I wanted to complete this project so that my students wouldn’t have any excuses to complete their homework, classwork, or projects. Success starts with preparation, and this is my step to ensuring that they are prepared for my class and for the future.
