This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special because many of them do not know English, but they come to school eager to learn. The cap and gown plus the graduation decor will help them realize that they have accomplished a lot.

My goal for this project is that by making their graduation day special, they will look forward to what lies ahead for them in kindergarten.

That eagerness will leave a lasting desire to continue to learn.

Our students deserve their day to be special because they come from a home where parents do not speak English so they are unable to help them in their learning. Even though that is the case, they give their all.
