This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in state PreK programs and are ages 4 and 5. All of them have IEP goals for social emotional and/or academic learning. These students are very enthusiastic about learning and want to be accepted by peers in their classroom and community. The schools I teach in are in a low income area.

My goal with these games and tools are to give my students the best chance to succeed with their academics and social emotional learning, through play with one another.

All of the students are working on skills such as turn taking, self-regulation, and building positive peer relationships.
