My Students

I have the privilege of teaching, nurturing, and fostering a love of learning in 22 beautiful Pre-K students! Every day is an adventure!

My students are a wonderful and intelligent bunch, always curious, and eager to learn and explore.

They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and inquirers. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers. They are our future and I want to give them the greatest start to whatever lies ahead of them - in college, their career, and life!

My Project

The Cubetto and Adventure Packs will allow my students to enhance their teamwork and critical thinking as they work together to program Cubetto, the robot. These social skills are just as important as the STEM skills they will acquire! Cubetto is a system that is accessible to all of my diverse learners, as it connects to many different learning styles. Students use puzzle like blocks and a programming board to write code, and then watch Cubetto go!

Hands-on practice with the basics of programming can allow children in early childhood a head start to the thinking process they will need in the future.

Cubetto and Adventure Packs will allow us to work together to figure out how to move through a maze, draw shapes, or get a ball from one point to another. Each adventure pack will bring new excitement and exploration! Your donation will make these engaging learning experiences possible for the students in my classroom. Thank you in advance!
