PreK Individual Supplies

Help me give my students items that they need for individual use for in-person learning to help keep the spread of germs. We really need our water bottles because students do not have access to water fountains.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Reese's classroom raised $250

My Students

My students come to school ready to learn and eager for what the day is to bring. Many of my students come from low-income families and this is their first real experience at school. Many of my kids have not been around other kids their age.

My kids started the year as eager 3-4 years old, ready to see what big school is all about.

The 22 students in my class come from varying living circumstances but they are all eager to learn. Many of my students are from single-parent households or living with other relatives. For many of them they come to me not knowing how to write their name, or even identify the letters in their name. Instead, they come with their desire to learn and ready hugs and smiles as they embrace school and learning.

These students are just getting the feel of school and I want them to look forward to coming to school and learn. In many cases, these students don't know how to share or how to express emotions they are feeling. Despite this, they are eager to learn, explore, experience, and discover the world around them.

My Project

These items will help me make individual kits for my students that they are able to keep at their seats and allow them to drink water in the classroom. With the rise in COVID, I want my children to have experience with materials at their seats, but still do so safely. With these materials, I will help ensure I have enough containers for all of my kids to have their own supplies or to keep supplies by the table.

The playdoh will help the students work on their fine motor skills and they manipulate and create with the playdoh.

This will help them later on when it comes to writing. They will be able to mold the playdoh by hand or use given accessories to create works of art. We need the containers to keep items at students' seats because we do not want the items to be shared between students. We would love to be able for students to have easy access to water each day, but the bottles we have need to be replaced as they are breaking and leaking.
