Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have six Prekindergarten classes who are full of curious and kind little ones. Four of the classes are made up of 4- and 5-year-old students who will go to kindergarten in the fall. The other two classes are made up of 3- to 5-year-old students who have Individualized Education Plans. We are hosting a PreK Family Math Night and would love storage solutions for each math kit that students will bring home.

During our PreK Math Family Night we are providing all our learners with fun and engaging math games to play with their families.

Each student will receive an Iris USA Medium plastic hobby supply organizer to hold wooden cubes, lacing string, and numeral cards. Students will need clear twist cap deli containers to store pony beads for patterning and store inside their supply organizer. We are using the Neenah vellum paper to print counting mats, pattern block puzzles, numeral cards and more for each student. Fellowes thermal laminating pouches will be used to laminate cards for students for durability and be used over an over at home. The Natural cotton tote bags will allow students to have a storage bag of their own that they can decorate with fabric markers to keep all of their math materials in one place at home.
