Help me give my students natural clay for students to experience an authentic pottery experience.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Mauldin's classroom raised $315

My Students
My students consist of artists in pre-k with varying exceptionalities. My students are part of a rural community in central Florida with limited resources. We have many homeless students and 100% of our students are receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
Learning through the integration of art is essential to my students' educational and personal growth as lifelong learners.
Art allows them to see the world through many different lenses. Nothing compares to the look a child gets when they have pride in something they have created. I strive to give my students the opportunity to achieve this experience each and every day.
My Project
This project combines the love of literacy and the creativity of art. We have clay inspired books in our classroom. The boxes of clay will help inspire young minds to create a three-dimensional sculpture like the character in our book.
In this case, students will mold a ceramic form inspired by literacy.
I love seeing the literacy inspired art my students create.
Your generous donation to this project will complement the myriad of age-appropriate board book we currently have in our classroom and bring in the importance of literacy in the art content area.
Art is tied to all parts of life, and my students want to explore it all!
