PreK Book Adventure: Take-Home Readers for Growing Minds!

Help me give my students early literacy skills with take-home readers! Your support will provide age-appropriate books, fostering a love for reading and strengthening family engagement in learning beyond the classroom.

My Project

PreK students are excited and engaged when exploring books and listening to stories. I want to build on this excitement by making our take-home reading program even better.

Many of my students don't have access to appropriate books at home.

This makes it hard for them to practice reading and develop important early literacy skills. By providing new and extra sets of reading books, we can give every child the chance to read with their families.

The books I'm asking for are perfect for young learners. They have colorful pictures, simple words, and repeating patterns. These features help build confidence in beginning readers. These books will connect with what we're already learning in class, making reading fun and meaningful.

Sending these books home will also strengthen the bond between school and families. Reading together becomes a special time for parents and children. It encourages daily reading habits and helps with language development in a fun and easy way.

My goal is to create a lasting take-home reading program with plenty of books for everyone. We want to give each student the tools they need to succeed. With your help, we can build a strong foundation for reading. We can help our PreK keiki love books and create happy reading memories with their families. Thank you for helping us make a brighter future for our young learners through the joy of reading!
