This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class is an inclusion preschool with students of varying needs and backgrounds. They are the sweetest 3-5 year olds who LOVE being read to more often than trying to figure out stories for themselves when stories are filled with text and limited pictures.
Our current CD player is recently out of commission and a new player would allow students to access stories independently.
This will allow students to build on reading/language comprehension, listening, and print concept skills to build their kindergarten readiness. We aim to build our students' independence and love of reading/school in our classroom. Thank you for being a part of their journey.
