My Project
Our STEM lab is where creativity meets engineering, and students bring their ideas to life through hands-on projects that blend science, technology, and design. To take our learning and innovation to the next level, we are seeking support for a laser cutter/engraver along with proper storage and transport solutions. These resources will empower students to build, experiment, and share their work more effectively than ever.
A laser cutter will unlock new possibilities in design and prototyping.
Students will be able to precisely cut and engrave wood, acrylic, leather, cardboard, and more — enabling projects like architectural models, custom circuit housings, signage, wearable tech, and personalized classroom tools. The accuracy and versatility of a laser cutter will dramatically expand what students can create and allow them to explore real-world applications of engineering and design principles.
In addition, we need durable storage and transport systems to keep student projects safe, organized, and mobile. Many of our projects span multiple class sessions or are prepared for events, exhibitions, or competitions. Without adequate storage, projects are at risk of damage or loss, and transporting fragile or intricate pieces can be a major challenge. Proper containers, bins, and shelving will ensure students' work is protected from start to finish.
