My Project

Free play creates an opportunity for children to explore their world in their own way and helps foster creativity and use of imagination. In our classroom there are a variety of materials available that build fine motor skills while promoting creativity and team building.

Countless studies have concluded that children who engage in plenty of free play develop crucial skills that they will need for happy, healthy, and productive lives.

They learn how to make decisions, regulate emotions, and work together.

Every child is unique and has a different way of learning the skills necessary for writing and reading. You may have a child who wants to draw, build, make a meal for friends, but another child will want to look at books and use writing tools to make marks on paper. This project will supply students with materials for imaginative play as well as more conventional writing tools that lead towards becoming competent writers such as stickers, stencils, rubbing plates, envelopes and cards, plastic cups for building and new marble run pieces.
