This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"A ball in every child's hands!" This is the mantra of our PE department! At our Title 1 elementary school, the diverse population of students enjoy learning and growing each day at PE because we make sure every student is active throughout each lesson. We focus on students performing as many repetitions as possible while enjoying each activity!

In order for each student to engage in their PE activity with as many repetitions as possible, every student requires access to the proper equipment.

Our students deserve the opportunity to learn! Basketball dribbling skills are fun for everyone. Our intermediate students have access to a plethora of basketballs appropriate for their size. Unfortunately, our Pre-K and primary students struggle with such large balls. They are very eager to learn and enjoy the skills of the foundations of basketball and other activities! They would absolutely benefit from age-appropriate equipment such as these Rhino Skin Super High Bounce Dodge Balls! These balls are very versatile and will be used frequently for different games and activities throughout the year.

As a passionate physical education teacher, I really enjoy the moments in which every student is engaged in the lesson and activity! The blissful moments when I see kids smiling, hear them laughing, know they are learning, and are improving their foundational skills motivate me every day! Our Pre-K through primary grade students would certainly benefit from this donation.
