My Project
These materials will allow my students the opportunity to learn with engaging “hands-on” materials. Centers are a very important time of our day because it is the time we really get to learn at our own pace and level. Centers give them the ability to gain independence and control their own way of learning. The centers we are focusing on for this project are Dramatic Play.
These materials will further their learning because they will have the ability to choose what they do during their time.
They are also very helpful because the answers are provided for them which will allow me to work more rigorously with other children.
Students can freely move around and explore new materials to help enhance their development. Students will be able to use the hands-on learning tools from this project, to help them develop words, counting skills, and writing. The goal is to keep enhancing students imagination so they feel open and free to develop at their own pace. They will also be able to choose centers that interest them. The best way to increase communication and early development is to have more engaging activities that will help foster that. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent center time and this project will only help enrich their experiences to build friendships and team work.
