This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Naptime is an essential and important part of the day for Pre-k and ultimately, comfort and safety is my goal for them. My little pre-k stars have their nap time/quiet time, which we all know a good nap is great for their minds/bodies to rest, reset and for their growth and development. Many students are not equipped with a mat to rest comfortably so I am asking my community to help out and provide these necessary items. My goal here is to make sure every student has one and is not left out. Many of these mats over time get overused, ripped and need to be replaced. Nap mats are used daily and provide a safe and protected surface so no injuries occur during nap time.
