Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Walkie-talkies will be used at parent pick-up and drop-off, communicating with other teachers during recess, and in the classroom. These walkie-talkies will help increase campus safety and facilitate communication among staff members.

Walkie-talkies will increase our ability to communicate across the school and keep students and staff safe.

We will be in constant communication with one another to ensure the students get to where they need to be and are accounted for. I also added traffic cones to ensure that students don't run into traffic and or in front of cars because it has happened before. I am looking for ways to ensure all aspects of safety for students, teachers, staff, and parents.

These walkies are especially important because we have students who are nonverbal and can get lost easily with these we can help locate them anywhere easily, this will help my class, me, other teachers, their classes, and my overall team tremendously.
