Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class consists of 15 amazing learners! My class is mixed age of four and three year olds. Some of my students are ELL learners. They love hands on activities, reading, and exploring! Our classroom is an inclusive environment where we celebrate each other’s differences! My student’s are learning to write their names, count, recognize letters and numbers, learn social emotional practices, and friendship skills. My students love to learn through play and are constantly using their creativity and expanding their minds during choice time in the classroom and on the playground!
My Project
Any new materials will give the students more resources to learn and grow from! My students love to read and would love to have some comfy seats and new books in their cozy reading area! We focus on several studies throughout the year and we always need extra resources to support the studies in the classroom. My students love hands on activities,games, and materials that they can build with. They also love to be creative and to make beautiful art! They also enjoy exploring in the science area with natural objects, microscopes, and magnets!
