This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am a teacher at a low-income school. I work in an area where the community is supportive when it comes to showing up for school events, however, the area is mostly low-income families and can't support the children financially. The mass majority of our school students receive free or reduced lunch. Therefore, they need your help. Our students are eager to learn and I would like to provide them with the best education possible. This can happen with your help. Please help us protect our computers.
My Project
As educators we know that reading daily to young children, starting in infancy, can help with language acquisition, communication skills, social skills, and literacy skills. Therefore, I read to my students as much as possible. I am trying to build my library so that my children can have a variety of books to read and learn from. I also read to the students who are virtual so they will get the same experience as the students who are traditional. Thank you so much for your help expanding my children's minds.
