My students are eager little learners who have a variety of special needs. They have young curious minds. They love to explore the world around them and make new discoveries.
We work to grow the whole child, focusing on social and emotional skills as well as academics.
We focus on student abilities and strengths. My goal is to provide each child with the tools needed to meet his/her potential. I am excited to see my students grow and learn this year!
My students need opportunities to solve puzzles and develop spatial relationships. Because of my diverse group of learners it is critical to provide puzzles at varying levels of difficultly. These puzzles would help to strengthen my students early math skills. I want my students to be challenged, yet also feel the success of persevering through a task.
Puzzles are a wonderful way to build coordination, motor skills and problem solving.
These puzzles would provide my students with much needed diversity and challenge them to explore problem solving in the classroom. Each puzzle a child is able to experience is another opportunity to building a strong math foundation.
