My Project

For Pre-K Students functional play shows children how objects are meant to be used in relation to one another and for their intended purpose. Functional play is important for early learning, helps children explore different combinations of toys and tasks, and develops language, coordination, and thinking.

Goals are to enhance play enrichment for our students.

They enjoy learning through play! Some of the materials will be used to help enhance real life scenarios when being a doctor, policeman, grocery clerk, campers, and more.

Our students are learning self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
