My Project
Hello everyone! We are located right in the heart of the Bronx, extremely close to the Yankee Stadium. This site is a Title I school. The setting is a Monolingual classroom, which includes 1 general education teacher (myself) and 15 amazing little ones who are in-person. Most of my students speak different languages ( Spanish, Arabic, French & Creole). They are very energetic. According to the U.S. Department of Education, Title I, of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, provides financial assistance to local educational agencies and schools with high numbers or high percentages of students from low-income families to help ensure that all students meet challenging state academic standards. There are a variety of Math toys for kids that allow children to explore numbers. The best math games for 4 year olds and younger include kids dominoes that can easily be used anywhere, anytime. My math center is lacking and these games will help my preschoolers explore science independently.
