My students need science, technology, engineering and mathematics materials. These include STEM early learning kits, and 2 Fire 7 kids edition tablets.

My Students

My class consists of (16) 4 and 5 year olds. We are a Tile 1 school, where all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch this year! My pre k class is a blended one. It includes ESL students, students with developmental delays including speech and Autism. I have taught pre k in this same school for 24 years and I feel I have the best job in the world! My students' love for learning is never ending. They deserve a quality education which helps to prepare them for the future. I want to give them all I can because they are my world and our future!

My Project

I am seeking to supply my students with various STEM activities and materials. My students do not have many outside resources to help prepare them for the future. Since our classroom is center based, I will use these Stem materials in the science, block and math centers to enhance learning. Students will be able to work collaboratively on projects. These STEM early learning kits will allow all of my students to become scientists, engineers and mathematicians! They will learn and apply content, integrate content, interpret and communicate information, engage in inquiry and logical reasoning and collaborate as a team. Having 2 tablets in the classroom will allow them to apply technology appropriately and collectively.
