This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have not met my preschool students, yet, but! I am sure they will be a group of little motivated individuals eager to discover their new journey into education. The students at the school are from low-income communities in a public school in the city. As their first school experience, I want them to remember it as a journey full of discoveries and fun! With the items in this project I will be able to be prepared from the start with essentials that will set the tone for the entire year.

My Project

This will be my second year as a Pre-K teacher. By the end of my first year I had a list of must-buy items. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources to buy these items. With your help, we will be better prepared for a successful year of learning.

From the calendar, line spot, organizing materials, incentives, timers, to reward chart, those are important items used to set the routine for the rest of the year.

In order for our students to become familiar with technology and use the resources we found that for students to focus, we needed headphones. This is most important since we have literacy and math programs that are beneficial for the student's learning.
