Do you remember the first time you saw someone use their hands to talk? Did you know what they were saying?
I work at a wonderful school in the New York City Area.
Our school is a great school, but due to budget cuts, there are things that we can not buy this year. I teach pre-kindergarten to 18 wonderful children. These children are so fun-loving and full of life. They deserve to have the materials they need to enhance their academics.
My Project
My class has become very interested in sign language. There's a child who uses sign language in our school and it has peaked the interest in my class. I told my class I would try to get visual aids and that we would learn sign language together. They were so excited. We started with the alphabet but need more Dvds in order to teach them more.
Your donation will help the children learn to communicate without using words.
They will be able to teach themselves and others sign language. Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal.
