Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Pre-K students with disabilities. My students are developmentally delayed and have speech/language delays. They are truly loving, adorable, and smart little scholars. They are eager to learn and explore new things. Many of my students come from various socioeconomic backgrounds with a wide range of academic abilities.

My Project

These materials will help me provide my preschool students with the opportunity to explore learning through the use of magnetic materials. My students will explore sequencing events, sorting beginning sounds, sorting numbers and objects, exploring numbers, counting, and shapes through the use of these magnetic materials.

These magnetic materials will allow the students to explore while keeping their work in place, thereby attracting success.

This project eliminates the frustration of the materials falling and rolling away from little hands. Imagine the fun that my little scholars will have as they explore these magnetic activities. The surface of these items is able to be wiped clean to sanitize and reuse over and over making it a timeless item.
