Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.

Our Pre-K unit is comprised of 40 students, who come from bilingual households and receive free lunch.

In our school, we try are best to give the students the best education we can as educators. We feel in our school and community that it takes a village to raise a child. We are very dedicated to the making our students success stories.

My Project

Here are some of the places we like to visit in our neighborhood and city:

-Shaker Lakes Nature Center

-Penitentiary Glenn Nature Center

-Severance Hall (Home of the Cleveland Orchestra)

-Play House Square (2nd largest theatre district in the US)

-Fire Station

-Cudell Recreation Center

-Cleveland Metroparks

-Cleveland Museum of Art

-and many more!

Help the kids in our group be very visible with their Pre-K class t-shirts and ID necklaces. These t-shirts will help our class of 20 high energy 4 and 5 years olds be visible in crowds. Help us stay super safe while explore our neighborhood and the city around us!
