Help me give my students a photography center in their classroom. The digital camera, photo printer, paper, and ink will give students the opportunity to be a part of creating classroom documentation of their play, learning, and exploring!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a Reggio Emilia inspired pre-kindergarten. My students are always exploring, and are full of questions about the world around them. All of the planning and teaching is inspired by our students. We take their knowledge, experiences, and wonderings to create our curriculum. My goal is to facilitate their learning through guidance, teaching, and creating an environment that is rich and inviting.
The sixteen students in my classroom are curious, bright, and full of wonder.
Regardless of where they come from, they all share that enthusiasm for learning. Their excitement for school and learning is evident the moment they walk through the door of our class. They greet their teachers and peers with a big smile, ready for a day full of adventure.
My Project
One of my goals this year is to make documentation clear and visible for students and parents. Documentation is a key component of the Reggio Emilia philosophy as it provides students with a map of their learning. Through documentation, students will be able to see where their learning began, where it is going, and what discoveries were made.
In a large school, it can be challenging to find a working printer.
The photo printer will give us the freedom to print instantly from any Bluetooth or WIFI device. From the printer, the photos can go directly up on the documentation board.
The digital camera will allow students to be more involved in their own documentation process through another medium. Using the camera, students can document their own wonderings, learning, play, and explorations.
The ink and photo paper will make replenishing the printer faster and easier as the supplies will be readily available in the classroom.
