My students are engaged in learning centers throughout the day. They are being exposed to various themes which are highlighted in the centers they visit. By the end of the year I would like them to become independent learners and problem solvers. My challenge is having all the materials.
My three and four year old Pre-K students are motivated and eager to explore.
They are learning how to make choices and share. They are being exposed to new and exciting things. My school is structured and traditional but aligned with the Common Core. The students are well behaved and eager to learn. Teachers work well together and share ideas.
My Project
My students will use the listening center and be exposed to more stories. They will have an exciting painting experience using an easel and drying rack. At gym, they will use the active play materials and learn how to jump rope and toss a ball. As part of our transportation unit, they can use the file folder games independently and learn more about transportation concepts.
Donations to our project will enhance my student's first learning experience in so many ways.
Having a Pre -k classroom better equipped with materials that they need to fulfill their learning centers will change their lives for the better.
