I am lucky to teach Pre-K with 4- and 5-year olds! I work in a Title I school in Richmond, Va. My students are amazing!
I want my students to see themselves as explorers and creative thinkers!
This project is focused on giving them the tools they will benefit from in a virtual setting.
My Project
One aspect of being in a classroom is unlimited art supplies to use and express their creativity. Since we are currently in the midst of virtual learning, it would be wonderful to make sure all of our dragons have the materials they need while at home. Children are inherently creative and love expressing themselves through making art. These supplies will help them be able to draw, paint, and make anything they can think of! Students also develop fine motor skills while holding paintbrushes and markers. Thank you for helping make sure Pre-K students who may not be able to write about their ideas and feelings are able to draw and paint and those creative impulses are nurtured!
