This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This center, with the boom box and cd player, will provide my Pre-K students with engaging opportunities to listen to rich language, develop comprehension skills, and build a love for books in both English and Spanish. it will help foster a love for reading by making books and stories accessible to all learners.

Provide an independent learning space where students can engage with books at their own pace.
Encourage confidence in both English and Spanish by reinforcing key vocabulary and literacy skills.
My Pre-K students come from a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, bringing with them a wealth of experiences and languages. They are resilient, kind, and eager to learn—not just from books, but from one another. In our classroom, we celebrate every child's culture and language, and this listening center will be another way to ensure that all students feel represented, valued, and supported in their bilingual journey.
These resources will help create an immersive and engaging learning experience, giving my students access to high-quality language input in both languages.
