When the children first saw the new bilingual books and listening center materials, their faces lit up with curiosity and wonder. The children especially love going to the listening center to put on the headphones, follow along in the books, and quietly listen to different stories as well as a variety of cultural music genres. We also used the cd's during music and movement so the children can enjoy moving their bodies to fun music. \r\nThese resources have not only supported language development, but also helped students connect with each other's cultures and feel proud of their own.\r\n\r\nThank you so much to the DonorsChoose community for your continued support and for helping me build my students language skills through listening to books and music.","fullyFundedDate":1742936910237,"projectUrl":"project/pre-k-bilingual-storytime-building-lang/9187947/","projectTitle":"Pre-K Bilingual Storytime: Building Language Skills Through Listening","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jennes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9317533_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x510,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1696469683231","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9317533"},{"teacherId":9317533,"projectId":8600162,"letterContent":"The multicultural materials provided through my DonorsChoose project, Creating a Celebratory and Inclusive Classroom, have had a profound impact on my students.
