This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students' brains today are not the same as they were two decades ago when I first started teaching. Now, their brains are wired for technology!
My students may only be 3- and 4-years-old, but they already are tech-savvy and can already use the computers in my class.
They are experts at manipulating our class robot via remote control and can even work the DVD player! These are just a few of the examples of the technological abilities my students possess!
My Project
As a result, they need updated technology to keep them interested and enhance their learning. The Apple iPod Touch will be just the thing for them to explore letter sounds, numbers, and other educational games in a medium that is sure to keep them engaged!
My students don't have access to the most up-to-date technology in their homes.
