My Students
My students are imaginative, bright, curious, and energetic learners.
They enter the classroom ready to discover, learn and explore new things.
They often come to school from situations that are not ideal. Due to recent events here in Houston, my students will lack the necessary supplies to make their day successful. My students attend an inner-city Pre-K-8 Title I school. Where most of the students that attend are from low-income households and have never left the vicinity of their neighborhood.
My Project
Early learners are very energetic and creative, although breakfast and lunch are requirements my students still need an afternoon snack to continue the learning that takes place within the classroom. These snacks will help jump-start the school year in a positive way.
By providing the classroom with essential items such as glue sticks, velcro, lamination, and markers.
As their teacher, I will be able to provide and create the type of hands-on activities needed for projects and workstations that can be interchangeable throughout the school year. By providing these items will help my students during their small group instruction.
