My Pre K class spends the day doing center activities. This is where they get the most out of learning about their world. Everything is hands-on. They need many items in our room to keep their attention. My biggest challenge is making sure they all have a complete learning experience.
My class consists of three and four year old children that have a zest for learning about their world.
They are very social and have great imaginations. I work in a very good school with a strong vision for educating. We are very academic but we balance it with a lot of enrichment.
My Project
My class will use the dress-up outfits during playtime in the dramatic center area. They will use their imaginations to pretend they are all grown up. The Vet kit will also be a part of the dramatic play area as they pretend to be an animal doctor. The math kit will be used as an addition to the math program to improve their counting abilities.
I am new to a pre-k classroom.
I do not have all the supplies needed to ensure my students have a full experience. These donations will give my students more of what they need in their learning centers. My students will move into kindergarten with a better foundation and richer learning experience.
