My Students

I have a classroom full of students who are eager to learn. We are a program that services thirty students that are each on an IEP for a variety of different reasons. The reason include but are not limited to Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and speech delays.

Our students are all three years old because we believe early intervention is key to their academic success.

These students love to explore and are finding different methods of how to express themselves.

My Project

We have listed a variety of items that will benefit our students. All of these items we have chosen have been thought out and decided on based on our students needs. Some are for tools to help them learn in grow in unique ways and some items are to help them comprehend new content. The color printer cartridge is to help make social stories. Social stories teach students how to interact in a way that is visual and easy to comprehend. The dramatic play toys will help our students understand a variety of items and tools they see everyday. These toys include cars and kitchen items. This project also includes sensory tools that can help our students calm down in a variety of settings by using tools that help them ease sensory anxieties.
