My Project
I am hoping to bring power pens to the reading and math centers in my first grade classroom.
The materials in this project will allow my students to independently complete colorful and interesting activities that practice our first grade standards.
With these books and pens, the children can practice and self-check a wide array of activities. Children will complete exercises in the non-consumable booklets by pressing on their chosen answer with the electronic pen. The pen will then provide immediate audio and visual feedback, cheering on a correct answer or leading them to try again. Skills covered include time, money, place value, skip counting, vocabulary, punctation, and comprehension. This set will provide a base for further card and booklet purchases that can reach multiple levels and curricula topics.
