My Project
Technology is engaging, but I want to give my students the opportunity to learn with these fun and exciting items to socialize with their peers without screen time. Fun Friday is a time when I give my students the time to interact with each other, practicing their speaking and listening skills. These slimes, LEGO bricks, and Play-Doh will give them a chance to resolve conflicts when they play together. In addition, we can also use these materials when it is raining or the weather is too hot to be outside! As a teacher, I usually spend my personal money purchasing the engaging activities. This year I want to get some fun materials that would allow my students to enjoy and celebrate Fridays. With the current society and challenges to teach our children to have a conversation not through screen, but face-to-face and Fun Friday is a perfect time for our children to play, build and socialize together and connect instead of being on their computers!
