My Project

We are a Title I school that is focused on the performing arts. For many of our students we are their only opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument or receive explicit instruction in other performing arts. Our students do well with setting goals and striving to meet them, earning small rewards along the way.

This project means that my students will receive rewards as they achieve their personal goals, performing arts goals, and academic goals.

The flutes will be a reward for students who would like to continue their musical progression at home. Allowing them to take ownership of their learning and give them the ability to share their new found talent with their family and community.
