This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students love writing on whiteboards, even in math class!
My kids are much more likely to engage and practice in class using whiteboards rather than paper.
When students hold up the boards I can quickly see who is understanding and who needs a little more help.
Whiteboards also allow me to include ALL students with different ability levels. Even though I have 130+ students, I will be able to create a class set and use it throughout the day.
The whiteboards will even last beyond one project or even one year.
