This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are primarily English language learners or learners with mild disabilities. My classroom thrives off of multiple ways of learning. Students need many examples, practices, and visuals to succeed with math concepts.

Our curriculum is good, but it is not perfect.

It lacks the step-by-step guidance that some of my students need. For students to truly master any math concept, they need anchor charts, interactive notebooks, and task cards to practice in multiple ways. These are the type of resources I need from Teachers Pay Teachers.

As I move to another grade level, I am in need of resources that I can quickly print and use tomorrow, without having to recreate everything from scratch again. Sometimes, the curriculum doesn't have the classroom notes, practice, and visuals that my particular students need to thrive and compete with the level of their peers. Numbers Rock from TPT has over 1200 tasks cards that practice EVERY math standard for 4th and 5th grade as well as over 196 guided math doodle notes to practice and make connections with. This will be exactly what my students will need to gain confidence and get the level of learning needed for 4th and 5th grade.
