This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Small-group learning helps draw people out who normally would not participate in front of the whole class. It also promotes self-esteem as compared to competitive or individualistic learning.

The purpose of this projects is to obtain items for my students to work individually or in a small group focusing on Math skills.

My classroom is in need of whiteboards and markers. I use these items daily to work with students on math facts, solving word problems, skip counting, and solving addition and subtraction problems.

I am also requesting Clorox wipes to keep the tables clean and sanitized to keep the students healthy and well during this final push of the school year.
